So I've been using my camera more and more lately, trying to get used to it and my new lenses. Slowly but surely I think I'm improving. I hope to start doing people portraits soon, if I can find any models. For now I'm enjoying photographing oceanscapes and plants, which are good subjects to practice on - they're always changing. I want to start taking some classes, but the community college that offers them, offers them at a campus downtown, and I don't want to drive down there. It's not something to be played with or taken lightly. It's like a plant - needing to be watered and nurtured or else it begins to wilt slowly and painfully until it finally dies away completely. Really, one must ask themselves if they have the patience and discipline to care for and protect such a flower. But there are times where you work so hard to nourish that flower, to only discover that it is a weed.
